Octagon Medical Support Fund — First Aid Course
Paramedic Steve from HS First Aid Training will be coming to Forestside Hall from 10am to 12.30pm on Saturday 26 September to give our community some basics in first aid.

This follows up on a very successful course we held in 2025. So do join us to learn how to best approach any incident, from getting help, accessing the defibrillator and CPR, managing an unconscious patient, bleeding and how to best treat wounds. There will be plenty of time for questions during the session. This is a course suitable for everyone, covering such things as accidents, choking, burns and spinal trauma.
The course is held in Forestside Hall from 10.00am to 12.30pm on Saturday 26 September, with a coffee and cake break. There is no charge for participants. If you would like to attend, please let me know by 10 September. If you attended in 2025 you are welcome to come again, but numbers are restricted to 25 and new participants will get priority.
